The Mez is our 68m² loft-style content space positioned upstairs at Studio Warehouse. Designed to feel more like a beautifully styled apartment than a traditional studio, it offers earthy tones, soft textures, and natural warmth—making it ideal for lifestyle, wellness, and fashion shoots.

Soft daylight filters in through a large overhead skylight, creating consistent, flattering natural light all day long. The space is styled with layered rugs, curved lounges, armchairs, and wooden coffee tables. You will also have access to a curated selection of props including ceramics, vases, faux flowers, books, mugs, and cushions to help elevate your shoot.

Freestanding textured wall panels in tonal shades provide a clean, minimal backdrop with depth and character. The Mez is perfect for cosy, candid content, elevated branding, or anything that needs to feel editorial, intimate, and lived-in

  • You can book The Mez from 1 hour up to 7 hours. For bookings longer than 4 hours, many clients choose to book The Whole Studio instead, as it offers better value and gives you full access to both levels, all furniture and props, and complete privacy for the duration of your booking.

  • Yes. When booking The Mez only, another booking may take place on The Ground at the same time. If you need full privacy, The Whole Studio booking is required.

  • You will have access to all furniture, props, and styling items located on The Mez level only. If you would like access to both levels, The Whole Studio must be booked.

  • The Mez receives consistent natural light throughout the day thanks to the skylights and the sun being directly overhead. Light is typically strongest from late morning to early afternoon, weather permitting.

  • The Mez is typically a few degrees warmer than The Ground, especially in summer due to being upstairs. Airflow is generally good, and opening the garage door can help with ventilation. On warmer days, fans are provided, and additional mist fans are being added to improve comfort.

In winter, The Mez may feel cooler. Electric heaters are available and can be positioned nearby during your booking. Please ensure heaters are unplugged before you leave.

  • Yes. It’s important to note the studio has a tin roof, so rain or strong winds can create background noise. The garage door may also produce sound during severe wind. If you are recording audio, we recommend checking the weather forecast. When possible, we are always flexible with moving bookings to help you get the best result for your content.

We often run back-to-back bookings for classes, photoshoots, and studio hire, so timing is a core part of how we operate. Any overtime charges will be invoiced to the person who made the booking.
