THe Ground
A blank concrete canvas
Book online.
The Ground is our largest and most versatile space—a blank concrete canvas with double-height ceilings, soft natural light, and 187m² of open space to work with. Featuring freshly painted neutral grey floors and smooth concrete walls, it is ideal for furniture shoots, fashion, editorials, and high-volume content days.
Perfect for larger campaigns or productions needing extra room to spread out, The Ground offers easy bump-in access via a large west-facing garage door. Natural light flows in gently throughout the day, with golden hour casting beautifully in the afternoon.
The space includes all of our chrome and leather furniture—couches, single lounge chairs, coffee table, white plinths—as well as three painted feature walls: the beige corner, caramel latte wall, and soft green wall.
Optional add-ons include our retractable triple paper roll mount, ideal for clean, consistent e-comm photography.

The Ground receives natural overhead light throughout the day via the skylights. You also have the option to open the roller door to allow direct natural light into the space. Light is most even from mid-morning to late afternoon, weather permitting. In the afternoon, when the roller door is open, golden hour light streams in strongly. This can be softened or shaped using the sheer curtains to create shadows and contrast. You can view daylight examples and timestamps in our Instagram highlights during daylight savings.
-
The Ground generally stays a neutral temperature. In winter, the space can feel cooler. Heaters are available if needed for models. Please ensure heaters are unplugged before you leave.
-
Yes. It’s important to note the studio has a tin roof, so rain or strong winds can create background noise. The garage door may also produce sound during severe wind. If you are recording audio, we recommend checking the weather forecast. When possible, we are always flexible with moving bookings to help you get the best result for your content.
